Sign PDF

Draw your signature in the signing box — mouse, finger or stylus — pick the page and corner, and download the signed PDF. Because everything runs on your device, the document and your signature never leave your browser, which matters for exactly the kind of documents people sign.

On-device — downloads its library once PDF Free · no signup
Network notice: Your PDF and your drawn signature never leave your device. The open-source processing library (pdf-lib, MIT license) is fetched from the cdnjs CDN the first time you use the tool.

How to use

  1. Drop the PDF to sign onto the drop zone.
  2. Draw your signature in the white box (Clear restarts it).
  3. Choose the page (defaults to the last), the corner, and the signature width.
  4. Click “Place signature & download”.

Supported formats

  • Input: standard (unencrypted) PDF files up to 200 MB.
  • The signature is embedded as a transparent PNG image at your chosen size and position.

Privacy

Your input is processed in your browser and is never uploaded. The first time you use the tool, your browser downloads its open-source processing library from cdnjs.cloudflare.com — the library is downloaded, your data is not sent. Privacy policy.

Limitations

  • This is a visual signature — the image of your handwriting — not a cryptographic digital signature with a certificate.
  • Placement uses position presets (corners/center of the bottom or top); free-form drag placement isn't offered yet.

FAQ

Is this a legally valid signature?

In many jurisdictions a drawn electronic signature on a document can be valid for everyday agreements, but requirements vary by country and document type — check what applies to your case. For certificate-based digital signatures, a dedicated e-sign service is the right tool.

Is my signature stored anywhere?

No. The drawing exists only in the page's memory while it's open and is embedded into your downloaded copy — never transmitted or saved.

Can I sign with my finger on a phone?

Yes — the signing box works with touch and stylus input as well as a mouse.
