Privacy

This tool has to contact a third-party service to answer, so what you enter is sent to that service. See the network notice above and the privacy policy for details. Privacy policy.

Limitations

  • Requires an internet connection — queries go to the dns.google resolver.
  • Answers reflect Google Public DNS's cache; a freshly changed record may differ from your ISP resolver until TTLs expire.

FAQ

Why do I see different results than my own network?

DNS answers are cached per resolver. This tool asks Google Public DNS; your ISP's resolver may hold an older or newer cached answer until the record's TTL expires.

How do I check if my domain's email is set up?

Query the MX records for your domain — they name the mail servers — and the TXT records for SPF, DKIM and DMARC policies.
